Guéré mask (N° 21499)
Guéré masks are reputed to be complex pieces in terms of both form and materials.
If one can observe certain similarities with the Dan masks, such as the rounded forehead, the nose and the general shape of the face, the eyes are globular and protruding here. On this piece, a large mouth is visible. The forehead is shaped like a visor. On either side of the nose, horned elements are protruding.
