We find the Millefiori pattern on these heavy beads.
The glass paste beads were once used as currency.

The beads of this type, in glass paste, would come from Venice (Murano) in particular, but also from other European countries such as Czechoslovakia. From the fourteenth century, they were exchanged in the African continent against various goods: gold, ivory, etc. ... The jewels could also be part of the dowry.
